Happy February, Panther fam!

It's the shortest month and somehow, we're still busy!? Hot coffee and the memory of sunshine is what keeps us going.

Spirit Wear Orders Are In

If you ordered spirit wear in January, good news! The PTA has picked up those orders, and we will be sending them home with students this week. Get ready to see a lot more Panther pride in the wild!

Krispy Kreme Fundraiser Ends Friday, 2/13

Midwinter Break Reminder

Don't forget that midwinter break is next week! That's it. That's the reminder.

February PTA Meeting is Wednesday, 2/25

Join us in person or on Zoom, from 6 - 7 PM in the school library. This month we'll be forming a nominating committee made up of PTA members who will handle voting for next year’s board seats. If you like being in the room where it happens, this is a good meeting to attend. IYKYK.

Glow, Panthers, Glow: Thursday, 2/26

The MHE PTA Glow Dance is back for another year and it's a Panther favorite that's FREE for all MHE families! There will be music, lights, concessions (including pizza) for purchase, and a coloring corner for students wanting a sensory break. Join us in the commons for a fun, family friendly night! Neon encouraged...fancy dance moves optional!

We are proud to offer events like this for our students and families, but we can't do it without volunteers! Shifts are short, simple, and many roles still let you enjoy the dance with your student. Help for 45 minutes or the whole event. It all counts, so help us if you can!

Pencil Friday: 2/27

The PTA will be selling scented pencils before late start! Cash only so remember those dollar bills! Wanna hang out with us that morning? Sign up to volunteer here.

Read Across America Week

The first week of March is Read Across America Week and MHE PTA is celebrating with Literacy week! Stay tuned for details on guest readers, a themed spirit week, and a book fair! Wanna help make the week run smoothly? Volunteer here.

Lace Up and Give Back

Just a reminder that we've partnered with Sno-King Ice Arenas for an ongoing fundraiser through Tuesday, 3/31. When you register for a public skate session using code S2RMHES12, 25% of sales come back to us!

Reflections Contest Update

Let's give a big PANTHER PAW HIGH FIVE to Asher Morhaime, Carter Montgomery, and Ella Green; three of our very own students who've been recognized with Certificates of Merit and Excellence through the PTA Reflections program this year! We're so proud of how they brought the 2025–2026 Reflections theme, “I Belong!” to life.
