Help brainstorm events, make decorations, design flyers, take photos, or bring an idea to life.
Fundraising & Community Partners
Help find sponsors, request donations, apply for grants, or connect PTA with local businesses and organizations.
Event Leads
Take the lead on an event or project with PTA resources, templates, and support already in place. This can also be done as a group!
Quick-Tasks
Perfect for the “I can help, but please do not put me on a committee” crowd. Small, one-off jobs when we need an extra set of hands.
Background Check Requirement
Everyone who volunteers in the school needs to have a background check on file with the district. Social Media Admin
Help keep our PTA community in the loop by posting flyers, sharing event reminders, and highlighting all the fun happening at MHE. Perfect for someone who enjoys social media and can help from home. Drop us a line if you're interested!
Trunk-or-Treat 2026 Volunteer
We need our Panther community to help make the magic happen! Sign up to decorate a trunk, donate candy, or volunteer to help with the event. Whether you go all-out with an elaborate trunk or keep it simple and spooky, we’d love to have you join us.
Community Support & Grants Volunteer
Want to help the PTA from your couch, on your lunch break, or whenever you have a little time?
We’re looking for volunteers to help us find funding and community support for MHE. This is a flexible, work on your own time opportunity that can include researching and applying for grants, reaching out to local businesses for donations or sponsorships, and finding creative ways to bring more resources to our students and school community.
No fundraising or grant writing experience required. We can provide templates, PTA information, and examples to help you get started. Take on one request or several, depending on your time and interest.
A great fit if you like researching, writing, making connections, or finding free money for a good cause.
Volunteer Wrangler
Be our go-to person for student volunteers! Help connect Hazen students looking for service hours with PTA events that need extra hands, then help us get them where they need to be. A win for their graduation requirements and a win for our workload.
Concessions Crew
Keep the snacks flowing! Help stock, set up, sell, and clean up concessions at PTA events. Perfect if you’re happy to jump in for a shift without taking on a whole event.
Mascot Help
We’re building a list of volunteers who are willing to suit up as Pax the Panther at school and PTA events! Signing up doesn’t commit you to any specific event. It just means we can reach out when Pax needs a person inside the paws (or someone to help them walk around)!
